As founder and CEO, Douglas Smith heads the team that has taken Sabre Safety from start-up to Global H2S company. With the team's focus now firmly set on international markets, he is well on the way to establishing the company as the leading international H2S company. The Sabre Safety Group, which has established an operational base in Canada and is now expanding into Eastern Europe and the Middle East, is well placed to continue its growth.

The management team's unrivalled technical experience gives Douglas the platform to lead Sabre Safety to become the world's premier H2S company.

Douglas has worked in the offshore industry for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience dealing with H2S on a worldwide basis. He has operated in Singapore, Italy, Russia and Kazakhstan as well as numerous other global and European Union locations and has encountered, at first hand, extremely high levels of H2S in the most arduous of conditions.

Prior to working in the H2S sector, Douglas who is Royal Navy trained worked in the diving industry. His approach favours efficiency and fair play; attitudes which he actively encourages amongst all Sabre Safety employees.
