Breathing Apparatus UK

Breathing Apparatus

Contour

Sabre Contour is an award winning range of self-contained breathing apparatus that has been designed to provide exceptional levels of performance and comfort, whilst providing unsurpassed reliability in some of the most extreme environments.

Breathing Apparatus UKThe ultra-compact Tempest demand valve used on Sabre breathing apparatus features a unique, servo-assisted, mechanism that features first breath actuation and a bypass. Minimal parts replacement, thus reducing lifetime costs.

Attachments are available to provide airline, decontamination and rescue-mask capability. The lightweight, composite backplate is available with a range of harnesses and materials to suit virtually every apparatus configuration and application, from single to twin, or even twin- cylinder parcel.

Electronics

Models of Contour are capable of accepting the latest electronic accessories, including mask-mounted radio communications and logging and download functions as well as providing an interface to some of the latest telemetry systems.

Sigma

The Sabre Sigma provides the same high levels of respiratory protection as the Contour SCBA, but has been packaged to provide a simple and effective solution for use in industry, shipping and other non-firefighting environments.

SigmaThe pneumatic system features an instant positive pressure demand valve, combined pressure reducer and cylinder connector and shoulder mounted pressure gauge and whistle featuring a lightweight composite backplate and a polyester webbing harness, the Sigma provides all the benefits of simplicity, reliability and low maintenance in a robust package without compromising performance.

Cen-Paq

Designed for ease of donning, and sharing the same proven pneumatic system as the Centurion, Cen-Paq is used where speed of response is the key issue, providing maximum performance from a short-duration SCBA. Originally designed for snatch- rescue in the prison services, the Cen-Paq has found many converts in industry due to it’s one-size waistcoat and the availability of an airline option. Cen-Paq is suitable for all manner of inspection, intervention and rescue applications for civil, military and industrial customers, particularly where full-size SCBA may be too big and bulky.

ELSA

ELSA is the third generation of the compressed air, constant flow Emergency Life Support Apparatus pioneered by Sabre. CE marked to EN 1146, the ELSA is available in both 10 and 15 minute durations, featuring a unique cuboid hood with elastomeric neckseal for optimum performance. The robust valve and cylinder is stowed in a high visibility bag. ELSA is designed for escape from hazardous industrial environments whilst involving the minimum of physical exertion.

Sprint

The Sabre Sprint positive pressure escape breathing apparatus is designed for use where escape is required from the most hazardous situations – particularly where maximum levels of respiratory protection are required in confined spaces. Simple to use, the Tempest demand valve provides excellent dynamic and flow performance. Sprint is available with a PanaSeal facemask with quick-donning net head harness or positive pressure hood options. Sabre Sprint is CE marked to EN 402 and available in either 10 or 15 minute durations with anti-static bag options.

Modulair

The Modulair is an airline trolley and supply system for users of Sabre airline breathing apparatus, providing safe and proven solutions for virtually any breathable airline situation. All Modulair airline systems are CE marked to EN139 with Sabre airline breathing apparatus.

ModulairThe airline trolley can provide a compressed air cylinder supply for two or four wearers via a single or two hose reels respectively. Trollies are available to take two or four conventional SCBA cylinders, or a single J-size cylinder with 200 or 300 bar working pressures.

Hose reels are detachable or available as separate hose reel carts. Typically welded stainless steel construction is used for robustness and corrosion resistance. Pressure reducer systems utilise the same robust and proven technologies as Sabre SCBA’s and are available with both pneumatic and audio-visual warning systems.

Where an external airline supply is used, Airline Filter Units are available to remove oil, water and particulate contamination. Supply hoses are available in either, general use PVC or chemically resistant, anti-static rubber types as well as a full range of accessories.

The three models of Sabre airline breathing apparatus have been designed to provide the optimum solution for a wide variety of applications in the most severe and hazardous environments.

All Sabre airline apparatus feature the ultra-compact, Tempest positive pressure demand valve for superior performance, proven reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.

Flite

Sabre Flite is a positive pressure airline breathing apparatus with the option of a 10 or 15 minute compressed air cylinder supply for escape from the most hazardous environments e.g. confined spaces.

FliteThe apparatus features an adjustable webbing bandolier, as well as an optional hip mounted cylinder, for access and manoeuvrability in the smallest of spaces. Sabre Flite has been engineered for robustness and has been proven in some of the most arduous working environments, including off-shore oil and gas production.

RAS

The Sabre Respirator Airline System (RAS) is an automatic, positive pressure demand flow airline breathing apparatus, with the added facility to accept a 40mm DIN thread filter canister. RAS combines user comfort with a high degree of flexibility.

It can be used for a variety of factory process work in hazardous atmospheres and is ideal for maintenance inspection, tank cleaning, asbestos removal and for work in marine/shipyards, steel or chemical plants, oil refineries and throughout general industry.
